Claudia LaChance is a certified, bonded and insured Pennsylvania State Constable.
Pennsylvania State Constables are the Law Enforcement Officers for (District Justices) of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Constable is the oldest law enforcement branch of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Our duties for District Courts include: executing arrest warrants, levies, and evictions; transporting prisoners; and various process server duties.
Constable LaChance is certified by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, bonded and insured as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All costs for training are paid through a surcharge on the papers Constables serve from the District Courts. All costs for equipment, bonds, insurance and all other expenses are the responsibility of the Constable. Constable's fees are paid by the defendant in criminal and summary cases, and up front by the plaintiff in civil cases. As such, constable services are provided at no cost the taxpayers.
Constable LaChance earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a black belt in Shotokan karate. She is proficient in the use of firearms.
